Here is a small guide to ranks available to characters throughout roleplay.




{ Higher Ranks }
King: The male leader of the pride. He makes the decisions, leads raids, etc. along with his mate, the Queen.

Queen: The female leader of the pride. She makes the decisions, leads raids, etc. along with her mate, the King.

Deputy: The deputy organizes training sessions, positions, and is the King and Queen's right-hand man.

Lead Shaman: The Lead Shaman heals the injured and has the closest relationships with the pride's ancestors. They also take on an apprentice who will take over their position when they die or retire.

To-Be Shaman: The To-Be Shaman is the Lead Shaman's apprentice. They practice healing and interpreting dreams and signs from ancestors, and will take a Lead Shaman's place when they die or retire.

Lead Guard: The Lead Guard is the head Guard. They lead skirmish and battle parties and also observe To-Be Guard training.

Lead Hunter: The Lead Hunter is the head Hunter. They lead hunting parties and observe To-Be Hunter training.

Lead Scout: The Lead Scout organizes Scout patrols to go out and gather information on the other packs/prides and observe To-Be Scout training.

Lead Gatherer: A Lead Gatherer organizes Gatherer patrols to go out and fetch herbs for the Lead Shaman and observe To-Be Gatherer training.

Guard: A Guard's job is to guard the pride and attack other prides/packs, as well as defend their own. They train To-Be Guards and go on raids.

Hunter: Hunters hunt for the pride. They follow the Lead Hunter in hunting parties and train To-Be Hunters.

Scout: Scouts go out and find out useful information about the other prides/packs and bring it back to their pride, as well as train To-Be Scouts.

Gatherer: Gathererers have the job of collecting herbs for the Lead Shaman, as well as train To-Be Gatherers.

To-Be Guard:To-Be Guards are trained to guard the pride and attack other prides/packs, as well as defend their own. A normal guard mentors them.

To-Be Hunter: A To-Be Hunters are trained to hunt for the pride and are trained by a normal Hunter.

Giver: A giver is a female who is pregnant or nursing cubs. This can either be a permanent or temporary position.

Cub: Cubs are pride members who are too young to become a To-Be yet.
